Panamedia expands its fleet with the new Tecnam P2006T NG, the most efficient multi-engine trainer in its class

Panamedia International Flight School continues to expand and modernize its fleet with the acquisition of the new Tecnam P2006T NG, a next-generation multi-engine aircraft that strengthens the school’s commitment to excellence in advanced flight training.
The aircraft will be delivered in September 2026, directly from the Tecnam headquarters in Capua (Italy), where the Panamedia team will travel to collect it.

Innovation and efficiency in training

The Tecnam P2006T NG (Next Generation) represents the natural evolution of the highly successful P2006T model, introducing over 300 improvements in performance, safety, and sustainability.
Powered by two Rotax 912iSc3 engines of 100 HP each, it delivers up to 70% less fuel consumption and emissions compared to other aircraft in its category — making it the most fuel-efficient twin-engine trainer on the market.

Equipped with the Garmin G1000 NXi avionics suite and GFC700 autopilot, it is fully compliant with EASA CS-23 Amendment 4, enabling IFR operations and ensuring a modern, safe, and airline-oriented training experience for future commercial pilots.

A new generation of design and comfort

Among its most notable features:

• Retractable landing gear, ideal for advanced MEP and IR training.

• Enhanced visibility and accessibility, thanks to larger side windows and three access doors.

• Redesigned central console and ergonomic cockpit layout for maximum comfort and intuitive operation.

• Advanced Garmin G1000 NXi system, compatible with VFR, IFR, MEP, IR and PBN (LNAV-VNAV, LPV) operations.

• Reduced fuel consumption: only 14 liters per hour with a range of up to 930 NM (1,722 km).

With these features, the Tecnam P2006T NG stands out as the perfect platform for multi-engine and instrument training, offering a smooth transition toward commercial airliner operations.
