The pre-registration and enrollment period for the ATPL(A) Course and to obtain the Commercial Pilot License (Airline Transport Pilot) for the next promotions of March and September is now open. Places are limited and the pre-registration period will be open until all places are taken.
If your dream is to become an airline pilot; with the ATPL Course you will get the Airline Transport Pilot License and all the necessary licenses, ratings and qualifications, which are required by airlines to be part of the selection processes, in accordance with the European regulation EASA-FCL. Valid everywhere and forever.
Theory and flight training of the Airline Transport Pilot License (ATPL):
The commercial pilot ATPL Course consists of a theoretical and a practical part. In Panamedia, the training is carried out by highly experienced professionals in the sector and flight instructors who will help the students to know all the necessary skills of piloting an airplane from the very first moment they start the course.
The theoretical part of the ATPL Integrated Commercial Pilot Course can be done in person in Mallorca and Valencia and is composed of 785 hours, in 10 months, divided into 14 subjects.
As shown in the table below, the practical part is divided into 166 flight hours (141 hours in single-engine aircraft and 25 hours in multi-engine aircraft) and 95 simulator hours (35 hours in the Airbus A320 simulator), performing a total of 261 hours of instruction.

Yes, the ATPL (A) course at Panamedia International Flight School is a course aimed at training commercial pilots. It is an integrated course that includes the whole theoretical knowledge, flight training and theoretical and practical exams to obtain the ATPL (Airline Transport Pilot License) and thus be able to pass the airlines interviews.
No, it is not necessary to have previous studies or university studies to obtain the ATPL (A) commercial pilot license.
The requirements to start studying the ATPL (A) commercial pilot course at Panamedia International Flight School are two:
- You must be 16 years of age or older.
- To pass the initial medical examination.
Panamedia is also authorized by the State Agency for Aviation Safety (AESA) to carry out online the theoretical part of the ATPL course with a total of 650 hours (565 hours online, 66,5 hours physically in Mallorca or Valencia and 18.5 hours of exams).
